Baby Faces

By DK Publishing

Babies love to look at faces, and this is a great book to let your baby engage in this intellectual activity. The pages are small in size, which makes it easier for your baby to see and study the face in its entirety. Even as a baby, my son loved this book. By 11 months he could make a clear choice when presented two books, and he would often pick this book. He would still read this book from time to time when he was two years old, so it was an excellent addition to his growing bookshelf.

Each page shows a real photo of a baby’s face and the corresponding emotion is written at the bottom of the page.

Materials:

Square tissue box

Magazines

Go through old magazines, or better yet, get those freebie baby magazines that are at your doctor’s office and cut out pictures of baby faces. Simply glue or tape the faces onto the square tissue box, and give to your baby during tummy or floor time.
